Create art that reimagines map making as a way that captures our fleeting memories, hopes, and dreams.  Taking maps of our cities, hometowns, and bodies we will seek to capture experiences both real and fictional. 

The Absolute Worst 

A celebration of “bad” art ,“bad” taste, and “bad” ideas. This is the fine art of failure and doing things the “wrong” way.  Create business ideas that will fail and art that should be banned. We will let random chance dictate our next moves and maybe even come up with something “good”.

Fire! Fire! Fire! 🔥

Craft ritual lighters, perform surrealist art games, explore the fine art of letting it go, and create personal incense blends to inspire, provoke, and heal. 

Adorned in Power: Artistic Persona 

Create a piece of wearable magic, learn how to create powerful symbols, and integrate it all into your own artistic persona. Play with reality and fiction to create a new “you” through creative exercises and a symbolic self portrait. Leave class with your own personally crafted charm, amulet, or talisman.  

☆Iconic☆ Crafting your muse

In this three part class we will craft our own personal muse. Create a new entity or adapt an existing god, ancestor, spirit guide, or concept into a three dimensional art piece to place in your home, studio, altar, or garden. Drawing on historical and contemporary inspiration we will design, construct, imbue, and activate our sculptures to ready them into our creative lives. 

Performance Art Ritual  

Creating your own spells is a profoundly cathartic, empowering, and generative process. In this class we will be working with a basic outline to explore a variety of ideas for creating your own meaningful, transformative, and healing rituals. Each participant will create their own bespoke spell, culminating in a material or conceptual art piece.
